Jennifer Pompeo attended college at Boston University on an academic scholarship. She graduated Cum Laude from the Boston University School of Management in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance. She attended Seton Hall University School of Law and received her Juris Doctorate in 1995. During law school, Ms. Pompeo was selected as a Member of the Seton Hall Legislative Bureau, which publishes the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. While a Member of the Bureau, she assisted in the publication of the journal and served as a legislative-legal intern at the Office of the Attorney General in Trenton.

After graduating law school, Ms. Pompeo served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Joseph S. Conte, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County for the Court term of 1995 to 1996. She was admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey in 1995.

Ms. Pompeo worked as an attorney at a general practice law firm from 1996 to 2002. In 2003, she founded the firm of Jennifer Pompeo Attorney at Law, which is located in Morris County.
Ms. Pompeo is a Member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Morris County Bar Association and Passaic County Bar Association. She serves as a panelist for both the Morris County and Passaic County Early Settlement Panels. She has served as a volunteer Mediator for the Morris County Special Civil Part.
